Job Description
SurveyMonkey is seeking a Fraud & Abuse Analyst to protect its products from misuse. The analyst will become an expert in product abuse trends, advocate for solutions, and predict outcomes for new feature development. This role involves identifying and categorizing new trends and communicating findings to stakeholders.
- Monitor fraud alerts, assess risk, and report metrics.
- Identify emerging fraud trends and recommend solutions.
- Take ownership of content review workflows.
- Collaborate with machine learning teams to improve models.
- Partner on policy updates and implementation.
- Participate in threat modeling sessions.
- Manage incident response on a rotational basis.
SurveyMonkey is looking for candidates with:
- 2-4 years of Trust & Safety or fraud-related experience in SaaS.
- Familiarity with platform abuse issues and mitigations.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to evaluate abusive content and take action independently.
- Ability to respond to occasional event escalations during non-business hours.
