Ahrefs is seeking an experienced Account Manager to nurture and expand relationships with existing enterprise clients in North America. This role involves working with marketing agencies and Fortune 1000 companies, providing guidance on SEO and digital marketing strategies, and promoting the Ahrefs platform.

The Account Manager will play a crucial role in retaining and growing customer accounts, developing product advocates, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Unlike some organizations, Ahrefs emphasizes overall company performance in its bonus structure, reducing the pressure of aggressive sales metrics.

What this role involves:

  • Building strong relationships with enterprise customers.
  • Creating and implementing strategic account plans.
  • Consulting organizations on SEO best practices.
  • Devising and conducting onboarding training.
  • Leading upsell and account renewal discussions.
  • Monitoring customer health and identifying potential risks.
  • Acting as a customer advocate.
  • Contributing to ideas for departmental improvement.
  • Staying updated with industry news and marketing trends.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Skills in creating educational content and conducting webinars.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge and experience with SEO and digital marketing.
  • 3-5 years of experience in customer success, sales, or account management.
  • Experience at a marketing SaaS company or SEO/digital marketing agency.
  • Must be based in North America with the legal right to live and work there.
