Job Description
GitLab is seeking a Customer Success Manager (CSM) for the UKI region. This remote role involves partnering with customers to achieve their desired business outcomes, guiding them on the GitLab platform, and acting as a liaison between customers and GitLab teams. The CSM will focus on aligning with customer objectives, enabling them on existing use cases, and expanding into additional use cases to ensure customer return-on-investment.

Responsibilities:
  • Partner with customers to turn desired business outcomes into actionable objectives.
  • Guide customers on the GitLab platform and best practices.
  • Understand the customer journey and guide them on future adoption.
  • Act as the GitLab liaison for customer questions, issues, or escalations.
  • Own a book of assigned customers, focusing on adoption, retention, growth, and satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date on GitLab releases.

Requirements:
  • Understanding of Git and branching strategies.
  • Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and development pipeline.
  • Understanding of continuous integration, continuous deployment, and DevSecOps.
  • Prior experience in Customer Success or equivalent experience in increasing satisfaction, adoption, and retention.
  • Experience partnering with customers to define and achieve business outcomes.
  • Familiarity working with customers of relevant sizes.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
  • Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Alignment with GitLab's values.
  • Willingness to travel if needed.
