Senior Infrastructure Engineer (OpenSearch)

Job Description

Workato is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building high-performance queuing/storage engines and maintaining application cloud infrastructure.Role involves:

• Designing and developing high-volume, low-latency applications
• Contributing to all phases of the development life cycle
• Maintaining and evolving application cloud infrastructure (AWS)
• Maintaining and evolving Kubernetes clusters
• Scaling OpenSearch clusters to handle heavy workloads
• Implementing and managing effective sharding strategies
• Designing robust disaster recovery solutions

Requirements:

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 7+ years of industry experience
• Experience with public cloud infrastructure providers (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud)
• Experience with Terraform, Docker
• Good understanding of Linux networking and security
• Exceptional understanding of Kubernetes concepts
• Experience with GOlang/Python/Java/Ruby (any) and databases such as PostgreSQL
