Later is seeking a Senior UX Designer to lead the end-to-end design of key products within its marketing and social analytics ecosystem. The ideal candidate will thrive with autonomy, possess a strategic and tactical mindset, and have a deep understanding of data-rich, modular design systems. This role involves shaping scalable, intuitive, and highly functional user experiences that power Later's tools used by brands, creators, and internal stakeholders.
The Senior UX Designer will collaborate deeply with product managers, front-end developers, and data scientists to deliver modular, scalable, and easy-to-implement solutions. They will also serve as the go-to Figma expert, building high-quality components and maintaining a design system while leveraging auto-layout, tokens, and shared variables.
What this role involves:
- Owning the UX strategy and execution for a product area from end to end.
- Translating complex business and technical goals into user-centric design solutions.
- Driving design decisions that are iterative, data-informed, and aligned with agile development cycles.
- Partnering with front-end developers to ensure seamless design-to-dev handoff, focusing on implementation-friendly design structure.
- Liaising with research and data science teams to incorporate user insights into design decisions.
- Designing for data-intensive, B2B interfaces such as dashboards, campaign metrics, and performance reporting tools.
- Maintaining awareness of social trends, marketing workflows, and creator/influencer ecosystems to inform product development.
- Leading and collaborating with supporting designers to ensure cohesive execution across shared initiatives.
Requirements:
- 6+ years preferred experience in UX/Product Design with a strong B2B focus.
- Proven track record navigating complex products and solving complex usability problems.
- Demonstrated ability to break down large, ambiguous projects into actionable phases and drive them through to successful delivery.
- Deep knowledge of Figma and best practices for component-based, implementation-ready design.
- Strong collaborator with experience working in cross-functional product teams.
- Familiar with marketing workflows, creator ecosystems, and social data reporting.
- Skilled at designing and scaling data-rich dashboards and reporting interfaces.
- Comfortable leading in an agile, fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and visual communicator who can defend and present their work clearly.
