Job Description

Lightspeed is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pre-sales Consultant to join their dynamic team in Berlin. This role is crucial in acquiring new customers, managing strategic accounts, and ensuring seamless collaboration between the sales and implementation teams. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Lightspeed's products, exceptional technical expertise, and strong interpersonal and sales skills.

This position requires a presence of three days per week in the Berlin office (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).

Role Involves:

  • Supporting the Account Executive Team by developing technical solutions for customer requirements.
  • Collaborating with Strategic Account Managers to ensure customer satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities.
  • Actively participating in the Go-To-Market (GTM) team's Slack channels, providing technical insights and support.
  • Installing hardware and networks, and setting up systems for trade shows.
  • Presenting products and interacting with potential customers and partners.
  • Maintaining comprehensive knowledge of competitor products and strategies.
  • Serving as a top expert for Lightspeed's hardware, software, integrations, and APIs.
  • Conducting Tier-1 partnership demos to support new partner agreements.
  • Serving as the technical point of contact for RFPs and RFIs.
  • Ensuring the functionality of demo stations in the office.
  • Collaborating with implementation and professional services teams.
  • Coordinating with regional sales directors and managers.
  • Collaborating with product and product marketing teams.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales and solution presentation.
  • Experience with cloud-SaaS technologies in the hospitality sector.
  • Technical affinity and willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Deep understanding of the hospitality industry; experience in gastronomy is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills for both technical and business audiences.
  • Team spirit and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English and German.
  • Residence in Berlin.
  • Basic knowledge of APIs is a bonus.
