Vimeo is seeking a Sensitive Content Manager to join its Trust & Safety team in the Philippines. The Sensitive Content Manager will lead a team of specialists and leads responsible for reviewing videos and user accounts to protect the platform from abuse, such as child exploitation and extreme violence. The role involves close collaboration with engineering, product, and legal teams to address Terms of Service violations and maintain site integrity. The Sensitive Content Manager will contribute to technical and non-technical projects, requiring creative solutions and a deep understanding of abuse trends, particularly those related to US cultural norms.

What this role involves:

  • Leading sensitive content policy enforcement.
  • Ensuring timely responses to user tickets.
  • Managing and mentoring a team of individual contributors.
  • Partnering with Legal and Policy teams.
  • Advocating for customers and the team in cross-functional meetings.
  • Standardizing knowledge across the global team.
  • Supervising moderator training and quality assurance.
  • Mitigating high-crisis incidents.
  • Making final decisions and acting as an escalation point.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in English (written and oral).
  • Strong public representation skills for Vimeo.
  • Clear communication abilities.
  • Strong prioritization skills.
  • 4 years of experience in people management.
  • Analytical ability or experience is a plus.
