Job Description

Vimeo is seeking a Trust & Safety Sensitive Content Specialist to help enforce its rules and remove harmful content. The ideal candidate will possess a genuine passion for online safety issues and be comfortable making tough calls. This role involves exposure to sensitive or disturbing content.

What this role involves:

• Moderating video, platform content, and account behavior.
• Investigating and actioning high-sensitivity escalations.
• Providing guidance on complex legal questions and law enforcement requests.
• Fielding and replying to sensitive user communications.
• Conducting meticulous investigations to identify and remediate complicated cases.
• Developing and reassessing escalation protocols.
• Working with engineering teams to implement new tooling features and report bugs.
• Creating guidelines and workflows based on evolving user needs.

Requirements:

• Proficiency with English (both written and oral).
• Great instincts for how to represent Vimeo publicly.
• Strong and clear communication skills.
• Strong ability to prioritize incoming issues in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in content moderation or Trust & Safety.
• Analytical ability or experience a plus.
