Project Manager, Legal and Compliance at Vonage

Vonage is seeking a Legal & Compliance Project Manager to lead legal and compliance initiatives. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing projects related to legal operations optimization and the Vonage legacy compliance programme. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of legal and compliance frameworks, project management methodologies, and stakeholder coordination.What this role involves:

• Overseeing projects aimed at enhancing legal team processes and improving efficiency.
• Managing and improving legal operations initiatives, including contract and matter management.
• Developing and implementing vendor management processes.
• Supporting the creation and maintenance of knowledge management resources.
• Collaborating with IT to integrate legal technology with enterprise systems.
• Developing automated workflows to streamline contract processes.
• Designing and maintaining legal operations dashboards to track key metrics.
• Managing compliance projects from initiation to completion.
• Defining project scope, objectives, milestones, and deliverables.
• Tracking progress, managing risks, and resolving issues.
• Monitoring compliance risks, conducting periodic audits, and implementing corrective action plans.
• Preparing and presenting project updates, reports, and compliance documentation.
• Facilitating cross-functional meetings to drive alignment and accountability.
• Acting as a bridge to enhance transparency and collaboration.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in legal and compliance, risk management, or project management.
• Experience in regulated industries such as telecom, finance, or healthcare.
• Strong technology aptitude.
• Proficiency in project management tools.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
