Security Analyst Intern Fall 2025

Job Description

Rocket Lab is seeking a Security Analyst Intern to join their team in Long Beach, California. This internship offers the opportunity to support the Security Team program, focusing on security education, training, and awareness throughout the organization. The Security Team is responsible for physical security projects, threat assessments, and awareness campaigns to ensure the safety of Rocket Lab personnel and assets.

What this role involves:

• Working closely with a mentor and security department employees.
• Applying industry concepts to solve real-world challenges.
• Attending frequent 1:1 meetings with mentors and supervisors.
• Participating in tech talks and networking events.

Requirements:

• Must be enrolled in an associates, bachelor’s, master's or doctorate degree program in field of criminal justice, national security, emergency management, or similar. and have at least one semester of school remaining post internship
• GPA of 3.0
• 3+ months of general work experience (internships or other personal/team project experience is applicable)
• Able to work full-time, on-site for a minimum of 12 consecutive weeks beginning in August or September 2025
