Job Description

Rocket Lab is seeking a Technician I-IV, Ops Support - Facilities to be based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The technician will support the Facilities Manager and operations organization, focusing on facilities maintenance and ERT team support.

Responsibilities include:

  • Troubleshooting and repair of facility/HVAC equipment and systems.
  • Monitoring environmental standards for clean room operation.
  • Performing facilities and process equipment operational and preventive maintenance procedures.
  • Working with engineers to resolve issues or plan for acquiring/installing new equipment or systems.
  • Installing new facilities and process equipment.
  • Assuming a leadership role in training and support of new technicians.
  • Monitoring facility/HVAC systems and suggesting modifications for improvement.
  • Maintaining facility data collection requirements and procedures.
  • Identifying nonconformance and participating in finding solutions.
  • Deploying the Quality Management System.
  • Serving as a member of the Emergency Response Team.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
  • Experience in the maintenance and repair of Industrial and commercial HVAC, electrical, mechanical and building support equipment
  • Experience using a respirator
  • Technician I: 2+ years of experience in a highly regulated manufacturing/production environment
  • Technician II: 5+ years of experience in a highly regulated manufacturing/production environment
  • Technician III: 8+ years of experience in a highly regulated manufacturing/production environment
  • Technician IV: 12+ years of experience in a highly regulated manufacturing/production environment
