Job Description
Whalar, a leading independent Creator and Social Agency, is seeking a Senior Account Manager for their Berlin office. This role is remote-first, but requires the ability to come into the office when needed. The Senior Account Manager will be responsible for managing client relationships, creator partnerships, and budgets, ensuring the smooth execution of projects. They will act as a central resource, bringing in the right expertise at the right time and facilitating collaboration. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful program delivery and account growth, as well as experience managing a team.

What this role involves:
  • Overseeing day-to-day campaign operations and ensuring projects are set up for success.
  • Mentoring, training, and developing team members.
  • Delivering accurate pricing plans and tracking budgets.
  • Identifying gaps in processes and tailoring workflows for efficiency.
  • Developing client relationships and identifying new commercial opportunities.
  • Developing and implementing media strategies and measurement plans.
  • Presenting work to existing and prospective clients.
  • Resolving client disputes and handling objections.


Requirements:
  • 6+ years of agency or brand experience.
  • Proven track record of successful program delivery and account growth.
  • Experience managing a team.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of the creator economy and social media advertising ecosystem.
  • Fluency in German at a native or near-native level.
