Job Description
Zinnia is seeking a Program Manager to drive execution on client implementation work. The Program Manager will work with peers, Account Executives, Operations, and Technology teams to achieve transformation target outcomes. This role requires a keen understanding of the SDLC and the ability to deliver projects in both waterfall and agile methodologies.

Role involves:
  • Supporting client discussions and planning activities.
  • Preparing and facilitating strategic client planning sessions.
  • Collaborating with Operations, Product, Client Account execs, and internal Technical Lead resources.
  • Monitoring and managing Client portfolio status.
  • Acting as the first point of escalation for transformation initiatives.
  • Driving Client conversations on best practices & scope management.
  • Improving team performance by leading, mentoring, training, motivating, and building team cohesiveness.
  • Participating in monthly finance discussions to review P&L.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
  • 10+ years of Project Management Experience.
  • 15+ years total technology experience.
  • Experience with Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, Kanban methodologies.
  • Understanding and experience within full software development project lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of project management tools and software.
  • Experience with third-party system support, preferably in insurance/financial services.
  • Knowledge of IT systems, governance, and compliance.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to tailor communications and influence critical decisions.
  • Strong results orientation, organization, and management skills.
  • Experience with conversions and implementations.
  • Knowledge of annuities and life products.
  • Ability to travel a minimum of 10% of the time.
