Product Design Coach (VP+)

Job Description

Mento is seeking a senior product design leader to join their team as a Product Design Coach. This remote, contract position involves providing 1:1 coaching to Mento members, participating in ongoing training, and contributing to the Mento coaching community. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping people advance in their careers and possesses strong people leadership skills.Role involves:

• Providing 1:1 coaching to Mento members through virtual sessions.
• Participating in ongoing training sessions to improve coaching abilities and skills.
• Communicating with members via email or chat in between sessions.
• Sharing coaching tools and insights to enhance coaching practices.
• Acting as an ambassador of the Mento community with kindness, respect, and empathy.

Requirements:

• A director, vice president, or other senior product design leader with 20+ years experience managing product design teams and coaching individuals.
• Passion for helping people advance in the workplace.
• Self-awareness, high emotional IQ, and the ability to create a safe space for others.
• Excitement about growing coaching skills and a growth-oriented mindset.
• Comfort working in a constantly changing startup environment.
• Ability to dedicate a minimum of 12+ hours per month to coaching at Mento for the next 24+ months.
• Based in North America or Europe.
