Job Description
Xaira Therapeutics is seeking a Lead Information Systems Engineer to provide tech support and collaborate with external service providers. This role is based in the South San Francisco office. The Lead IT System Engineer will work independently, anticipating and responding to the needs of internal systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Architect, build, operate, and optimize core IT systems.
  • Manage WAN, Internet, LAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN networks.
  • Partner with Facilities, Security, Workplace on office projects.
  • Perform day-to-day support and administration.
  • Build automation and tooling for compliance.
  • Provide Tier II/III support and troubleshooting.
  • Improve efficiency and collaboration across the organization.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred
  • 10+ years of IT system experience.
  • Strong experience with DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, and AD Group Policy.
  • Experience with scripting and automation languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell, Perl, PHP, Ruby).
  • Experience with managing VPN, telecommunications, VoIP, and video conferencing.
  • Strong time management and communication skills.
