SDET III - API & Mobile ( Mobile)

Jumio is seeking a highly skilled and experienced SDET III - API & Mobile to join their team in Bangalore. This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of Jumio's highly scalable backend and mobile-based systems.

The SDET III will be responsible for architecting, designing, and implementing robust automation frameworks and testing strategies. They will also mentor junior team members and collaborate with developers and product managers to improve test efficiency and release velocity.

Role involves:

• Architecting, designing, and maintaining robust automation frameworks for API testing.
• Leading the implementation of comprehensive test strategies and plans.
• Driving automation-first approaches in various testing phases.
• Performing quality assessment of native iOS and Android applications.
• Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Mentoring and supporting junior SDETs.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality benchmarks are met.
• Contributing to test data management and virtualization strategies.
• Tracking quality metrics and driving improvements.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in test automation for backend systems.
• Strong programming skills in Java and Python.
• Extensive experience with mobile apps testing (native iOS and Android).
• Proficiency with API testing tools such as pytest, TestNG, Postman.
• Strong knowledge of testing principles, SDLC, and Agile methodology.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and backend testing strategies.
• Experience with AWS.
