SDET III - API & Web ( Web Team)

Job Description

Jumio is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test III to drive quality assurance across its backend and web-based systems. This role involves architecting, designing, and implementing automation frameworks and testing strategies. The SDET III will mentor junior team members, collaborate with developers and product managers, and innovate to improve test efficiency.Role involves:

• Architecting and maintaining automation frameworks for web and API testing.
• Implementing test strategies based on technical specifications.
• Driving automation in functional, regression, performance, and integration testing.
• Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Mentoring junior SDETs.
• Collaborating with developers and product owners.
• Contributing to test data management.
• Tracking quality metrics and driving improvements.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in test automation.
• Strong programming skills in Java and Python.
• Hands-on expertise with Playwright, Selenium, Postman, REST-assured, or similar tools.
• Strong knowledge of testing principles, SDLC, and Agile methodology.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.
