Senior Developer Advocate (Onboarding)

Job Description

Vonage is seeking a Senior Developer Advocate (Onboarding) to enhance the developer experience with Vonage's APIs. This role focuses on streamlining the developer journey from initial evaluation to full adoption. The advocate will drive operational efficiency by creating and maintaining tools, scripts, and automation solutions.

The Senior Developer Advocate will architect and implement tooling solutions that simplify the integration of Vonage's APIs. They will reduce integration complexity, automate setup processes, and create scalable solutions for efficient transition from proof-of-concept to production.

Key responsibilities include:

• Creating automated solutions for onboarding tasks.
• Building tools to diagnose and resolve integration challenges.
• Developing tools to maintain current API documentation.
• Designing and maintaining CLI tools, SDKs, and automation scripts.
• Gathering and analyzing developer feedback.
• Collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Support teams.

Requirements:

• Strong software development experience with expertise in building developer tools and automation solutions.
• Experience with API integration.
• Proficiency in Python or JavaScript.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a remote environment.
