Sr. Site Reliability Engineer (Security)

Job Description

Zenoti is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (Security) to join their team in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing security controls and practices in cloud environments. This role involves monitoring and responding to security incidents, ensuring compliance, and developing automation tools to enhance security operations.Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage security controls in cloud environments.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools.
• Implement and manage security infrastructure as code.
• Integrate security practices into the DevOps pipeline.
• Provide security guidance to engineering teams.
• Establish and maintain monitoring systems for security threats.
• Lead incident response efforts.
• Stay current with emerging security threats.
• Propose and implement improvements to security policies.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in cloud security or site reliability engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Security.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (Azure).
• Experience with microservices and serverless computing.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and automation tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Knowledge of containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS).
• Experience with SIEM tools.
• Knowledge of network security, identity and access management, and data protection.
• Certifications like CISSP, CISM, AWS Certified Security - Specialty is preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
