Job Description

Dark Outlaw Games, a Sony PlayStation Studio, is seeking a Producer to join their team in Los Angeles. The Producer will collaborate with production leadership, creative leads, and external partners to maintain and execute project planning for the teams. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of project management, communication skills, and a passion for making games.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the production effort on multiple initiatives.
• Utilize both agile and waterfall principles and processes.
• Directly manage the production team.
• Manage the day-to-day tasking of team members.
• Facilitate and lead communication among team directors, seniors and leads.
• Guide the team through all phases of development.
• Ensure all documentation, milestones and deliverables are tracked, scheduled, and budgeted.
• Effectively communicate objectives and expectations.
• Be the team’s communication link.
• Craft and roll out processes that guide and improve development.
• Maintain alignment on project scope, quality and objectives.
• Foster positive/collaborative working relationships.
• Participate in resolving personnel issues.
• Follow necessary processes and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of industry experience in game production.
• Leadership contributions as a producer to the release of at least one AAA title.
• In-depth knowledge of project planning and tasking.
• Excellent organizational & prioritization skills.
• Experience working with JIRA, MS Project, MS Office (Excel), Smart Sheet, Miro, Trello, and bug tracking databases.
• Deep understanding of Agile techniques.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Knowledgeable of current industry trends.
• Must love games and have a true passion for creating them!
