Team Lead - Ops Academy

Job Description

Adyen is seeking a Team Lead for their Ops Academy in Amsterdam. Adyen is a financial technology platform that provides payments, data, and financial products in a single solution. The Operations Academy team supports the professional growth of Adyen's Operations workforce. The Team Lead will lead a small team to develop the strategy of the operations functional learning programs and execute against it.

Role involves:

• Driving and delivering the strategic priorities of operations.
• Collaborating with senior leadership to understand business needs.
• Acting as a key advisor on learning and development and engagement strategies.
• Managing comprehensive functional learning programs.
• Collaborating with senior stakeholders from Learning & Development (L&D), Operations leadership, and other Adyen academies.
• Evaluating end to end employee learning needs, utilizing data analytics to inform decision-making and optimize program impact across operations.
• Defining, building, executing and measuring the impact of the Ops Academy programs and drive continuous improvement.
• Implementing and overseeing scalable training methodologies, integrating in-person and digital learning solutions to enhance accessibility and participation.

Requirements:

• A collaborative leader, skilled at building strong relationships, influencing senior stakeholders, and driving strategic initiatives across global diverse teams.
• Strong strategic skills and the ability to connect the bigger picture to smaller projects.
• 8+ years of experience in program management, learning & development, preferably in a fast-paced, global environment.
• 3+ years of direct people leadership experience.
• Role modeling a growth mindset - biased towards execution and comfortable trying things out never done before.
• Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in managing and implementing learning initiatives in a rapidly changing environment.
• Deep understanding of learning & development principles, including program design, facilitation, and training strategy execution.
• Strong data analysis skills, with experience leveraging performance metrics to enhance learning programs.
• Background in Operations is a plus.
