Product Manager for Developer Experience and Data Compliance at Vonage

Vonage is seeking a Product Manager to enhance the developer experience and ensure data compliance. This role involves shaping the developer ecosystem for Vonage's Application APIs and tools, focusing on consistency, usability, and innovation. The Product Manager will also drive international compliance efforts, particularly around data isolation and GDPR adherence, to facilitate Vonage's expansion into new markets.

The Product Manager will report to the Head of Unified (UC/CC) Experiences and collaborate with various teams, including Marketing, Sales, and Legal.

Responsibilities include:

• Owning the developer experience across VBC and VCC, including API design and usability.
• Defining and enforcing API standards.
• Overseeing developer tooling such as SDKs and code snippets.
• Advocating for developers and embedding their needs into product roadmaps.
• Enhancing Vonage’s data isolation strategy to meet global compliance standards like GDPR.
• Tracking and improving data localization capabilities.
• Defining the strategic direction for developer experience and compliance.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of API ecosystems and best practices.
• Experience in delivering successful developer-facing products.
• Understanding of data compliance requirements, including GDPR.
• Experience in agile development practices.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Fluent in English.
• 4+ years’ experience in product management or developer-focused roles.
