Job Description

Heartflow, a medical technology company focused on advancing the diagnosis and management of coronary artery disease, is seeking a Communications Manager. This role will be crucial in driving effective communication strategies and targeted public relations efforts to build the Heartflow brand. The Communications Manager will report to the Senior Director of Communications and will be responsible for implementing comprehensive communication plans and developing compelling content that aligns with business objectives and engages the target audience across various platforms.Responsibilities:

• Implement a comprehensive communications roadmap.
• Oversee Heartflow and C-suite executive’s social media channels.
• Shape narratives that resonate with partners.
• Create a strong executive/C-suite voice.
• Build and implement strategies that promote and protect Heartflow’s brand and reputation.
• Develop and implement internal communication strategies.
• Collaborate with and support investor relations.
• Develop crisis communication protocols and content.
• Support communications strategy and tactics in a highly regulated industry.
• Manage communications associated with business partnerships.

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of the virtual/digital healthcare landscape and emerging trends.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in using digital marketing tools and social media platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with media, stakeholders, and key industry influencers.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business goals into effective communication strategies.
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in leadership roles within communications and public relations, with a minimum of 3 years in healthcare or related industries.
