Localization Producer

Job Description

2K Games is seeking a Localization Producer to manage the localization process of upcoming game titles into multiple languages. The Localization Producer will collaborate with production, localization, quality assurance, and development teams globally. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, highly organized, and possess strong communication, scheduling, and relationship-building skills. This role involves managing multiple projects and supporting international publishing needs.

The International Localization Producer serves as the main European contact, ensuring projects are localized to the highest quality, on time, and within budget, while also supporting lead production teams.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the localization process for assigned projects from end-to-end.
• Directly manage internal and external localization teams.
• Champion international versions of titles.
• Schedule and track game development from an international perspective.
• Identify and communicate project risks and instigate contingency plans.
• Work closely with QA departments.
• Maintain a close relationship with First parties.
• Work closely with marketing/PR to ensure terminology consistency.
• Assist global publishing teams with quality control and milestone reviews.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge and experience of the Localization process.
• 2+ years of experience in internal or external game development or publishing.
• Proven track record in project localization management.
• Excellent communication, time, and project management skills.
• Experience building and managing relationships with Localization vendors.
• Experience managing, mitigating, and resolving risks.
• Understanding of various production processes and methodologies.
