Job Description
Xometry is seeking a Director of Business Transformation to optimize its end-to-end supply chain and marketplace operations. This role involves driving efficiency, scalability, and a superior experience for buyers and suppliers. The Director will lead strategic initiatives, advanced forecasting, and data-driven analysis to enhance supply chain performance and marketplace dynamics.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive supply chain and marketplace operations strategy.
- Lead strategic initiatives to optimize marketplace dynamics.
- Drive the development and implementation of a robust Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
- Lead the development and refinement of sophisticated demand forecasting models.
- Lead the extraction, analysis, and interpretation of complex datasets.
- Develop and implement strategies for effective supplier relationship management.
- Lead the optimization of end-to-end logistics and fulfillment processes.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement within the supply chain and marketplace operations functions.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels across the supply chain.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management.
- Experience in managing and optimizing marketplace operations.
- Expertise in advanced Excel modeling, data manipulation, and statistical analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to influence senior management.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with ERP systems and advanced supply chain management software/marketplace platforms.
- Strong understanding of financial principles related to supply chain and inventory management.
