Job Description

PALO IT is seeking a Tech Lead Go to support a strategic modernization project for one of their clients. The Tech Lead will be responsible for driving the refactoring of a critical platform, designing and implementing a structured refactoring strategy for an existing Go codebase. They will conduct code audits, identify technical debt, and lead correction initiatives. The role involves redefining the software architecture, optimizing for performance, security, and scalability.

The Tech Lead will lead and mentor a team of developers, promoting Go best practices and coding standards. They will implement modern CI/CD pipelines, automate testing and deployment, and work closely with Product, QA, and DevOps teams to align technical goals. Ensuring sustainable knowledge transfer to empower internal teams post-refactor is also a key responsibility.

Role Involves:

  • Designing and implementing a structured refactoring strategy for an existing Go codebase.
  • Conducting code audits and identifying technical debt.
  • Redefining software architecture for performance, security, and scalability.
  • Leading and mentoring a team of developers.
  • Implementing modern CI/CD pipelines.
  • Working closely with Product, QA, and DevOps teams.
  • Ensuring sustainable knowledge transfer.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in backend development with deep expertise in Go (Golang).
  • Strong background in software architecture and design patterns.
  • Mastery of performance optimization and application security.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker/Kubernetes, and observability tools.
  • Natural leadership skills with a passion for mentoring technical teams.
  • Solution-oriented mindset with technical rigor and agility.
  • Fluent in professional English is a plus.
