Fortra is seeking an Account Executive to sell its software products within the Northeast United States (NY, NJ, CT). The Account Executive will be responsible for identifying and qualifying business opportunities, preparing proposals, leading negotiations, and closing sales. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of offered solutions and provide accurate sales forecasts.This role involves:
Making regular telephone calls to develop relationships and follow up on leads.
Identifying and properly qualifying business opportunities.
Leading negotiations, coordinating complex decision-making processes.
Developing and maintaining communications with staff and customers.
Assisting in determining sales strategies and goals.
Researching and developing lists of potential customers.
Requirements include:
Bachelor’s degree.
At least two years of related sales experience; technology/software sales preferred.
Inside Sales experience preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organization and time management skills.
Demonstrated ability to problem solve and negotiate.
