CookUnity is seeking a Lead Product Designer to join their Cookin v2 team in Toronto. This role is ideal for a product-minded maker who is passionate about creating delightful, high-impact features. As the first dedicated designer on Cookin v2, the candidate will set the creative and product-design foundations that the rest of the team will build on. They will partner daily with product, engineering, brand, and growth to ship fast, learn even faster, and turn insights into delightful, high-impact features. • Own the end-to-end user experience.
• Prototype, test, and iterate quickly on flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity visuals across native mobile and web.
• Tell clear, compelling stories about user needs and product opportunities.
• Work closely with engineers to ensure design quality.
• Champion design that keeps the team moving fast.

Requirements:

• Product-minded maker with a focus on outcomes.
• Full-stack designer comfortable with research, IA, interaction, visual, and motion design.
• Builder at heart, comfortable with ambiguity and constraints.
• Relentless learner, excited about new tools.
• 5+ years of experience shipping consumer-facing products at a high-growth startup.
• Portfolio required.
