Job Description
Ohana Child Development Center, located at Bandwidth's Raleigh NC Headquarters, is seeking a Lead Infant Guide (Classroom Manager). Ohana provides Montessori/RIE based programming for children 4 months to 5 years of age, serving the families of Bandwidth employees. The Classroom Manager will provide people management for classroom teachers while fostering a supportive and collaborative educational environment.
What this role involves:
- Building a collaborative teaching culture among classroom teachers.
- Communicating effectively with school and corporate leadership, parents, and teachers.
- Supporting teachers in maintaining accreditations.
- Evaluating classroom teachers and substitutes.
- Fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
- Following and teaching Montessori and/or RIE Pedagogy.
- Mentoring and coaching other teachers.
- Ensuring team members understand and follow policies and procedures.
- Supporting operating as a unified team with the Corporate Bandwidth team.
What you need:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- MACTE accredited Montessori certification required.
- 6+ years working in a Montessori environment.
- Experience with Montessori/RIE caregiving techniques.
- Skilled in observation techniques and documentation.
- Strong communication skills (oral and written).
