Capco, a Wipro company, is seeking an Executive Director to lead its insurance practice in Hong Kong. The ideal candidate will drive growth within the insurance domain by building the company's profile and network across clients and engagements. Capco is targeting value creation for its clients in Hong Kong and APAC, operating in an agile environment and leading challenging projects.

The Executive Director will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, farming existing relationships, and identifying new prospects. They will join a growing team with deep expertise and exciting client engagements, focusing on value creation, operational excellence, digital transformation, and data.

Role Involves:

  • Identifying key C-suite individuals and building Capco's presence in the Hong Kong market.
  • Supporting the growth strategy by creating or improving the value proposition and go-to-market strategy.
  • Leading end-to-end oversight into the delivery of complex, large-scale initiatives.
  • Leading and developing forward-thinking solutions across technology, people, and process for insurance clients.
  • Leading transformation projects and process improvement initiatives for multi-national insurers.
  • Developing and executing digital transformation strategies to ensure clients achieve their growth and efficiency objectives.
  • Synthesizing market and industry trends into clearly articulated, tailored, and market-differentiated client solutions.
  • Proactively engaging with clients and Capco leadership in strategic & planning discussions.
  • Driving commercial growth of the insurance domain across Hong Kong and APAC.
  • Leading, managing, and mentoring resources to grow in their careers.

Requirements:

  • A background in Insurance within one or more of these capability areas:
  • A Solid Network across Hong Kong Insurance market
  • Insurance strategy with transformation experience
  • Digital transformation
  • Data strategy, data management, data engineering & data analytics
  • Business & finance transformation
  • Technology strategy, architecture development and technology transformation
  • A demonstrated network of relationships across the Hong Kong Insurance market at senior levels.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills across all levels from C-suite to internal engagement teams and vendors.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in the Insurance Industry with a specific focus on digital transformation across Operations, Underwriting, Distribution and/or Claims.
  • 5+ years’ experience in one or more of the following areas within Insurance: digital transformation, agile transformation, operational excellence, designing/implementing target operating model
  • A strong understanding of the project lifecycle and the ability to employ these concepts in process design, system implementation and the development of client deliverable
  • Business analysis experience in insurance capability uplift and digital ways of working – including designing or implementing target operating model strategies.
  • Experience delivering large scale program initiatives, reporting directly to senior stakeholders and managing multiple teams
  • Highly effective relationship management skills, with the ability to find ways of solving or pre-empting problems
  • Must have a strong track record of delivery, driving business development within a consulting role, as well as the generation of sales
  • Strong executive presence and stakeholder management skills
