Platform Engineer (Kubernetes on-premises)

Role involves:

• Creating and maintaining a globally consistent platform.
• Operational responsibility for production trading and research environments.
• Collaborating with traders, developers, quant researchers, data engineers, and infrastructure teams.
• Advocating for operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
• Troubleshooting, monitoring, automation, and ensuring resiliency.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in a similar position.
• Experience building systems with a focus on reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
• Experience designing and programming in various languages and technologies.
• Experience working on legacy code and green field development.
• Initiative in driving projects to completion.
• Experience learning and promoting new technologies with a focus on best practices.
• Experience building and automating operations tasks using scripting languages such as Python.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to steep learning curves and navigate large volumes of information.
