Senior Associate Consultant, Data Modernization

Job Description

Harbor is seeking a Senior Associate Consultant, Data Modernization to join their Strategy and Transformation team. This role involves driving data modernization strategies for law firms and corporate legal departments, supporting business transformation, innovation, and AI readiness. This is a hybrid position based in Harbor's Chicago office.Harbor is looking for someone to:

• Analyze complex legal and business datasets to uncover patterns and actionable insights
• Create data visualizations using tools such as Power BI or Tableau
• Develop written narratives and presentations that explain technical concepts
• Apply predictive analytics to forecast trends and model business scenarios
• Support Enterprise and Practice Data Strategy efforts
• Participate in AI and analytics projects by preparing curated data
• Collaborate with clients to understand goals and present results
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders
• Work independently, managing end-to-end execution of projects
• Contribute to ongoing improvements in Harbor’s internal data products
• Support Harbor’s broader thought leadership efforts

Requirements for the role include:

• Bachelor’s degree in data, analytics, or technology
• 3–5 years of experience in data analytics, reporting, or data visualization
• Strong working knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, Qlik or similar visualization platforms
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or similar analytics and data manipulation tools
• Understanding of predictive analytics with experience applying or developing models
• Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
• Demonstrated ability to work across departments and with external parties
• Proven track record of independently managing projects
• Eagerness to explore emerging technologies
