Harbor is seeking a Senior Manager, Data Modernization to join their team. This role focuses on driving data modernization strategies for law firms and corporate legal departments, supporting business transformation and AI readiness. The Senior Manager will lead client initiatives, serving as a trusted advisor in data management and utilization. They will also contribute to Harbor's thought leadership through presentations and solution development.

The role involves:
  • Leading client engagements focused on data strategy, modernization, and governance.
  • Designing and implementing solutions for centralized enterprise data.
  • Defining initiatives to structure and analyze practice-level data.
  • Delivering guidance on tools like data catalogs, MDM platforms, and BI solutions.
  • Supporting legal AI enablement through curated data initiatives.
  • Presenting Harbor’s vision at executive-level meetings and industry events.
  • Mentoring junior team members and fostering a culture of excellence.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree (advanced degrees preferred).
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in legal or professional services.
  • Practical knowledge of executing strategies and managing teams.
  • Strong understanding of how legal organizations use data.
  • Experience with enterprise data strategies.
  • Familiarity with legal business services and law firm operations.
  • Strong communication skills.
