Job Description
Appfire is seeking a Principal Partner Channel Manager for the Australia region. This role involves driving Appfire’s Asia-Pacific business through the partner channel. The ideal candidate will develop, foster, and deepen relationships with top partners through programs, enablement, and consistent communication. They will also serve as a brand ambassador for Appfire's growing portfolio of technologies.This is a remote role based in Australia, reporting to the VP of Channel and part of a global organization.Role Involves:
  • Accelerating and growing the partner base, focusing on top-level Atlassian Partners.
  • Developing plans to identify and recruit new Partners to the Appfire Partner Program.
  • Working with the Programs team to improve Partner Program initiatives and processes.
  • Delivering on strategic goals set by Appfire’s leadership team.
  • Mentoring and developing other channel managers.
  • Growing the presence of Appfire technologies within solution partners and system integrators.
  • Demonstrating the business opportunity of selling Appfire solutions.
  • Attending field marketing events and trade shows.
  • Being an internal advocate for partners and an external advocate for Appfire.
Requirements:
  • Based in Australia with easy access to international travel hubs.
  • Deep knowledge of Atlassian’s core product offering and the Atlassian Partner Ecosystem.
  • 5+ years of experience in a partner/channel/alliance business model.
  • Understanding of the challenges and opportunities of an indirect selling motion.
  • Korean language skills.
  • Ability to recognize potential in untapped opportunities.
  • Background in the software industry or consultancy/services organizations.
  • Understanding of working with small and large partners.
