Talkdesk is seeking a Vice President of Industry Strategy to lead their Retail, Travel, and Hospitality vertical. This role involves developing and executing strategic initiatives to drive growth and innovation. The Vice President will analyze market trends, identify industry challenges, and position Talkdesk as an industry leader. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in dynamic environments and strong collaboration skills.Responsibilities include:

• Developing and executing a strategic business plan for Retail, Travel & Hospitality.
• Conducting market research and analysis to identify industry trends and customer needs.
• Monitoring industry trends and competitive dynamics.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define industry-specific solutions.
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with key industry stakeholders.
• Driving industry-focused thought leadership initiatives.
• Identifying and managing strategic partnerships.
• Supporting key new logo deals and opportunities for renewal & expansion.
• Serving as a subject matter expert to educate the field.
• Maintaining customer relationships.
• Aligning industry strategy with the organization's overall goals.

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master's preferred).
• 15+ years of experience in strategy, business development, or industry-focused roles.
• Specific experience & connections across Retail, Travel and Hospitality industries.
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful industry strategies.
• Strong understanding of industry dynamics and competitive landscape.
