Senior Operations Analyst at NextEnergy Group

WiseEnergy is seeking a Senior Operations Analyst to join its Commercial & ESG team in Milan. This role focuses on strengthening service delivery to pre-construction sites and refining operational asset management services, including those for NextEnergy plants in Italy. The role involves agrivoltaic expertise development and offers significant growth potential in RtB, pre-construction services, and agrivoltaics operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Regulatory management with authorities like GSE, ARERA, TERNA in Italy.
• Regulatory and compliance of assets under construction.
• Developing specialist knowledge of agrivoltaic plants.
• Contract management including renewals and tendering.
• Supporting regulatory audits.
• Monthly, quarterly, and annual client reporting.
• Preparation of annual revenue and operating costs budgets.
• Ensuring compliance with ESG obligations.
• Management of land agreements.
• Asset onboarding to the company’s asset management platform (AMP).
• Commercial projects and ad hoc domestic travel in Italy.

Skills & Competencies:

• Time management & prioritization skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English and/or other European languages.
• Flexibility and willingness to engage in new tasks.
• Intellectual curiosity in technical management.
• IT literacy, particularly with Excel.
• Delivery focus and strong problem-solving skills.
• Passion for sustainability and clean energy.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Degree in engineering, economics, science, or law.
• Significant regulatory and contract knowledge.
• Minimum of 5-6 years experience in renewable energy, preferably solar.
• Fluent in Italian and business-level English.
• The right to work in Italy.
