Technical Analyst

Job Description

WiseEnergy is seeking a Technical Analyst to join its Global Technical Operations Team. This role is crucial for ensuring optimal performance across client portfolios by maximizing uptime. The Technical Analyst will be responsible for the daily supervision and analysis of solar plant performance, incident tracking and resolution, and robust reporting. They will also manage service providers and oversee client projects from onboarding to business as usual.

The role involves:

• Daily supervision and analysis of a Ground Mount PV portfolio's technical performance.
• Tracking plant incidents and taking ownership of resolutions.
• Optimizing the availability and performance ratio of the supervised portfolio.
• Managing relationships with Operation & Maintenance contractors and customer interface on technical issues.
• Preparing and delivering periodic reports on technical performance.
• Supervising site visits and managing technical documentation.

The ideal candidate should possess:

• Experience in Solar PV or renewable energy.
• A bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electricity or Electronics preferred).
• Comprehensive knowledge of PV plant technical characteristics.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong IT literacy, especially with Excel and SCADA systems.
• The right to work in the UK.
