Spanish Behavior Technician

Job Description

Centria Autism is seeking a passionate and dedicated Spanish Behavior Technician to join their team in Bernalillo, New Mexico. The Behavior Technician will work directly with children diagnosed with autism, implementing personalized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role offers the opportunity to positively impact the lives of children and their families through evidence-based techniques.Role involves:

• Implementing individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Teaching communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reducing interfering behaviors.
• Working one-on-one with children.

Requirements:

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and Tuberculosis test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Bilingual in Spanish.
