Job Description

AB InBev is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join the BEES Personalization team. This role is within the Engineering - Data department and involves developing and maintaining data services and solutions to support products and infrastructure across BEES. The Senior Data Engineer will work remotely and contribute to the growth of the company through technology and digital solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Leads efforts to drive the development and maintenance of data services and solutions.
  • Design efficient data models.
  • Implement improvements in architecture and processes.
  • Develop and maintain data ingestion, processing, and provisioning processes.
  • Contribute to obtaining knowledge in the business context and creating new data products.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or similar.
  • Advanced English.
  • Experience assessing scalability, reliability, security, and compliance implications of data pipeline designs.
  • Understanding of cloud computing platforms and services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Proficiency in Python, PySpark, Scala, and SQL for data processing and analysis.
  • Experience with data quality processes and controls.
  • Ability to apply debugging techniques to resolve cross-module issues.
  • Experience implementing monitoring, alerting, and failure handling mechanisms.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD principles and practices in automated pipelines.
  • Experience designing, developing, and maintaining APIs for data exchange.
  • Application of Agile practices to plan, execute, and deliver data engineering tasks.
