Job Description

GR8 Tech is seeking a Junior QA Generalist to ensure the quality and reliability of its software products. The role involves developing and executing automated and manual tests, enhancing testing processes, and contributing to project success. The candidate will work with high-load microservices and other interesting tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute test cases (manual) and analyze results.
  • Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs.
  • Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents.
  • Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using C#, Docker, Kafka, MongoDB, GitLab, etc.
  • Run automated tests, analyze results, and report findings.
  • Investigate defects and work closely with the development team.
  • Stay updated on the latest testing tools and methodologies.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of test automation processes.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Requirements:

  • Experience with OOP languages (ex. C#, Java, Typescript) with readiness to switch on C#.
  • Familiarity with automation testing tools and frameworks (NUnit, XUnit, etc.).
  • Experience with any DB (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc).
  • Experience with any message broker(Kafka, RabbitMQ etc).
  • Experience with Docker.
  • Understanding of different testing methodologies (functional, regression, performance).
  • Experience with API testing and tools (e.g., Postman, RestSharp).
  • Knowledge of any CI/CD(GitLab, GitHub, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Git or similar version control systems.
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluent Ukrainian proficiency is a must.
