Field Service Industrial Maintenance Technician (Chicago Region)

Job Description

ATS, founded in 1985, is a company with a presence in the United States, Mexico, and the United Kingdom. They specialize in industrial maintenance and are dedicated to improving factory operations. They are seeking a Field Service Industrial Maintenance Technician for the Chicago region.This role involves:

• Performing expert-level break-fix and preventative maintenance.
• Identifying and sourcing parts, supplies, and repair items.
• Optimizing maintenance, reliability, and preventative maintenance procedures.
• Setting up and operating machining operations.
• Documenting work performed in service reports.
• Troubleshooting and analyzing complex control systems.
• Utilizing advanced maintenance technologies to collect equipment performance data.

Requirements for this position include:

• High School Graduate or equivalent (GED).
• Associates degree with a Technical focus and 10 years of related experience in specific industry; or, 12 years of experience in specific industry.
• Comprehensive understanding of electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems.
• Ability to use basic hand tools and specialized tools.
• Extensive travel (Local, National, International).
