Job Description

A startup in the incubation stage is seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead their research, development, and mobile engineering efforts. The company focuses on revolutionizing AI matching and user profiling through advanced machine learning technologies. The CTO will collaborate with the founder to define the technical vision, strategy, and roadmap, driving the company toward technological leadership in the dating app sector.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and direct R&D and mobile development efforts, including facial feature extraction, recognition, and matching algorithms.
• Work with the founder to define the technical vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Oversee mobile app development, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.
• Stay at the forefront of advancements in mobile engineering and facial recognition technologies.
• Oversee the design, development, and testing of scalable solutions.
• Ensure R&D and mobile projects meet business objectives and adhere to timelines.
• Integrate technological advancements into product offerings, collaborating with product and marketing teams.

Qualifications:

• Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related fields (preferred but not mandatory with strong experience).
• Proven experience leading mobile development teams (iOS/Android or cross-platform).
• Demonstrated success in leading R&D or engineering teams, preferably in startups (social/dating apps a plus).
• Strong expertise in system architecture, mobile development, and machine learning.
• Proficient in Python, C++, Swift, Kotlin, or similar languages.
• Experience with mobile frameworks (Flutter, React Native, or native development).
• Knowledge of secure system design and data handling practices.
• Track record of innovating in system architecture and technical solutions.
• Ability to communicate complex technical ideas clearly to engineers and stakeholders.
