Reddit is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join its Developer Platform team. This team empowers developers to create engaging interactive experiences for Reddit communities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ranking and be passionate about connecting Redditors with their next favorite game.Reddit offers a flexible work environment, allowing employees to work remotely from any country where the company has a physical presence or to work from one of their physical offices.Responsibilities:

• Lead projects from concept to rollout.
• Enhance ranking capabilities.
• Design and develop machine learning models for personalization and game taxonomy.
• Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and backend engineers.
• Mentor junior team members.
• Conduct A/B tests and experiments.
• Stay updated on algorithmic techniques.
• Design, implement, and maintain distributed systems.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in a relevant industry or academic background.
• Prior experience with personalized feed ranking.
• Proven track record of delivering machine learning projects.
• Ability to lead and mentor engineers or data scientists.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to innovate and stay updated with advancements in machine learning.
