Job Description
Ocado Group is seeking a Procurement Lead to manage Corporate Services Procurement activities, overseeing approximately £75 million in annual spending. The Procurement Lead will be responsible for business partnering, leadership, execution, category management, and supplier partnerships. They will work closely with department heads and budget owners, providing support and guidance in managing supplier relationships.
Role involves:
- Business partnering with department heads and budget owners.
- Establishing a Strategic Sourcing methodology.
- Delivering Total Procurement Benefit across Cost, Risk, Quality, ESG, and Innovation.
- Leading high-value supplier negotiations.
- Embedding a Category Management approach.
- Leading the Indirect Procurement SRM programme.
Requirements:
- Extensive Procurement experience in category management, strategic sourcing, SRM, and contract management.
- Deep category expertise in Professional Services and Consultancy.
- Brilliant business partnering and influencing capabilities.
- Expert negotiator.
- Robust analytical experience.
