BACKEND SOFTWARE ENGINEER at AB InBev Growth Group

ABInBev Growth Group is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to contribute to the technical design, development, and quality assurance of backend solutions. The engineer will collaborate with the engineering team to implement new features, adhere to architectural standards, and support technical decisions.

Responsibilities Include:

• Participating in defining best practices and architecture standards.
• Contributing to high-level requirements meetings.
• Supporting the squad in technical decisions and creating standards.
• Suggesting new tools and technologies.
• Mentoring other developers and contributing to the Backend Chapter.
• Identifying and resolving technical debts and bugs.
• Participating in technical interviews.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or 7+ years of experience.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms.
• Expertise in at least one programming language and its frameworks.
• Experience in Systems Architectural styles (Monolith, Plugin, SOA, Microservices, Event-driven)
• Experience in Architecture concepts (Software design, hexagonal architecture, onion, clean architecture).
• Experience in API and capabilities.
• Experience in Cloud platforms and main providers.
• Experience in SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience in IAC Technologies.
• Experience in System Modeling (desirable experience on tactical DDD)
• Experience in Monitoring Tools, Metrics and Observability.
• Experience in Agile Framework.
• Experience in DevOps culture, automation (CI/CD) and main tools.
• Knowledge in Quality (stress tests, load, TDD, BDD).
