Job Description
AB InBev is seeking a Principal Developer to join their Growth Group team in Campinas, Brazil. The Principal Developer will analyze, design, and oversee the implementation of technology solutions, bridge the gap between technical processes and business strategies, and provide expertise in system architecture and design. They will lead and mentor a team of developers, promote best practices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. The role requires expertise in payment processing, cloud services (Azure and AWS), and Agile/DevOps practices. Responsibilities:
  • Analyzing, designing, and overseeing the implementation of technology solutions.
  • Bridging the gap between complex technical processes and business strategies.
  • Providing expertise in system architecture and design.
  • Leading and mentoring a team of staff developers.
  • Incentivizing code reviews and overseeing best practices.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Serving as the authority for payment processing.
  • Staying abreast of industry trends.
  • Leveraging cloud services to optimize performance.
  • Driving cloud-native initiatives and migrations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Relevant years of software development experience in a leadership role.
  • Proven ability to balance technical requirements with business needs.
  • Experience leading and mentoring software development teams.
  • Deep knowledge of payment processing systems.
  • Strong expertise in cloud services (Azure and AWS).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile and DevOps.
  • Availability to be at the office in Campinas, three times per week.
  • Advanced English; Spanish is a plus.
