Solution Architect at AB InBev Growth Group

AB InBev is seeking a Solution Architect to elevate architecture practices within the organization's Growth Group. The Growth Group unifies AB InBev's B2B, DTC, Sales & Distribution, and Marketing teams, driving digital transformation and organic growth.

The Solution Architect will partner with managers, directors, and technical leaders to improve architecture practices and ensure technical decisions align with established standards. They will help teams resolve technical debt, promote coding best practices, and create technical documentation. The role involves identifying improvements in the overall architecture, performing proof of concepts, and driving the adoption of new architectural concepts with different teams. The Solution Architect will also provide technical mentoring and contribute to the Backend community.

What This Role Involves:

• Partnering with managers and technical leaders to elevate architecture practices.
• Collaborating on technical decisions and ensuring adherence to standards.
• Helping teams resolve technical debts and bugs.
• Fostering adoption of best coding practices and patterns.
• Writing technical documentation and presenting solutions to stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Solid fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms.
• Expertise in at least one programming language and frameworks.
• Experience in Systems Architectural styles (Monolith, Plugin, SOA, Microservices, Event-driven).
• Knowledge of Architecture concepts (Software design, hexagonal architecture, onion, clean architecture).
• Experience with APIs and capabilities.
• Experience leading the deployment of systems into production.
• Familiarity with Cloud platforms and main providers.
• Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IAC) Technologies.
• Experience in System Modeling (desirable experience in tactical DDD).
• Familiarity with Monitoring Tools, Metrics, and Observability.
• Experience with Agile Framework.
• Understanding of DevOps culture, automation (CI/CD), and main tools.
• Knowledge of Quality practices (stress tests, load, TDD, BDD).
• Advanced level of English.
