Job Description
Scale is seeking a Technical Writer to revitalize and expand its internal learning content. The Technical Writer will be responsible for creating and maintaining training materials that empower operators and ensure consistent knowledge transfer across various teams, including GenAI Ops, Contributor Ops, Engineering, Product, QMs, and Support Agents. The role involves close collaboration with the Senior Technical Writer and Instructional Designer to deliver timely updated content.
  • Identify and address knowledge gaps by creating new documentation, updating existing content, and developing new training materials.
  • Develop comprehensive training materials, including documentation, tutorials, and guides, tailored to the needs of various user groups.
  • Regularly review and update documentation to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather, synthesize, and translate complex technical information into clear, actionable documentation & training.
  • Lead and assist in the delivery and support of training and onboarding programs.
Requirements:
  • Strong technical background (bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, Computer Science, or a related field).
  • 1+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably in a technology or software development environment.
  • Strong understanding of technical documentation principles and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams.
  • Ability to learn and understand complex technical concepts.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience with content management systems.
