Founder in Residence (Insurtech) at Menyala

Menyala, a venture builder founded by Temasek, is seeking a Founder in Residence (FIR) to spearhead the creation of a new insurtech venture. The FIR will have the freedom to shape the concept and guide the venture from problem identification through validation and MVP phases. They will collaborate with Menyala’s advisors, insurance experts, and technologists.

Responsibilities:

• Deep-dive into industry pain points and conduct market analysis.
• Develop and iterate on venture concepts.
• Test hypotheses through rapid prototyping.
• Engage potential partners and advisors.
• Build relationships with insurance providers, reinsurers, and tech providers.
• Lead exploration of cutting-edge technologies.
• Assess the feasibility and impact of alternative data sources.
• Define the venture’s initial roadmap.
• Collaborate with Menyala leadership on funding strategy.

• Strong strategic thinker with a background in venture building.
