Yext is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer to be a key technical leader, driving system evolution with a focus on Correctness, Reliability, Performance, and Observability. The Staff Engineer will work closely with engineering leadership to ensure technical strategy aligns with business goals and supports the product vision. By leading architectural initiatives and mentoring engineers, they’ll guide the evolution of distributed systems, enhancing scalability and resilience.
What this role involves: - Acting as a technical expert and go-to resource for resolving complex challenges.
- Leading technical designs for major initiatives, ensuring architecture principles and standards are followed.
- Shaping and maintaining architecture roadmaps, influencing both team-level and enterprise strategies.
- Conducting technical design reviews, guide experiments and tool evaluations, and drive proof-of-concept initiatives.
- Working across multiple teams, providing technical leadership on critical projects.
- Mentoring engineers, lead training initiatives, and facilitate Communities of Practice to drive shared technical growth.
